«Se non ci sono forze contrarie della natura, entro questa settimana chiudiamo gli over 80, in tutto ne abbiamo ancora 56 mila da fare».
Lo ha annunciato il presidente del Veneto Luca Zaia. In tutto, gli over 80 in Veneto sono 358.540, di cui 100 mila allettati.
«A oggi – ha precisato – ce ne restano 56.115, abbiamo scelto di “tirare” e chiuderla per domenica». Domani, mercoledì, tutti i dg delle aziende sanitarie illustreranno le modalità di somministrazione per gli over 80 «per continuare ad aggredire dalla prossima settimana – ha precisato Zaia – i 494.443 over 70. Ne mancano ancora 293.370, pari al 57%. Se abbiamo vaccini anche questa la chiudiamo velocemente per metà maggio».
«L’Ulss Scaligera di Verona si farà prestare vaccini dalle altre per chiudere la fascia Over 80». Lo ha precisato il presidente del Veneto Luca Zaia, a proposito della campagna vaccinale in corso in regione. «Avevo pensato – ha aggiunto – di fare un accesso diretto per tutti nel fine settimana, ma alcune Ulss, come quella Berica, chiudono gli ultraottantenni già giovedì 15. Quella Scaligera ha ancora 15 mila anziani ancora da vaccinare. Quindi, e non per anarchia delle Ulss – ha concluso – abbiamo deciso fare un `abito sartoriale´».
I numeri della pandemia
Sono 883 i nuovi positivi in Veneto, dato che porta il totale da inizio pandemia a 396.677; i morti sono 42, pari ad un totale di 10.994. Sono i dati del Covid nelle ultime 24 or. L’incidenza dei positivi sui tamponi è del 2,47%, ad oggi nella regione vi sono 30.559 positivi. In miglioramento i dati dei ricoverati, pari a 2.076, ovvero -46 rispetto a ieri. Di questo -30 pazienti si registrano in area non critica, -16 nelle terapie intensive. I dimessi sono 19.559.
«Se la curva delle intensive avesse un cambio di direzione – ha aggiunto – sarebbe una novità, finora non è mai capitato un calo dei posti letto per poi ripartire velocemente. Non è finita, perché nelle ultime 24 ore sono entrate 70 persone in ospedale. Possiamo affrontare il tema delle possibili riaperture, fermo restando che nel resto d’Italia non c’è la stessa nostra situazione», ha concluso.
La delegazione dei ristoratori
Una delegazione della Fipe-Confcommercio di Padova e del Veneto si è incontrata prima della conferenza stampa nell’ambito delle iniziative per chiedere la riapertura graduale dei locali pubblici.
«Loro – ha detto Zaia – portano la tragedia di un settore, quello della ristorazione, di un comparto massacrato come non mai da questa vicenda del Covid. A questo si sono aggiunti i saliscendi delle normative che si sono susseguite. Abbiamo fatto con loro le linee guida dopo il lockdown di marzo 2020, loro l’idea di sanità ce l’hanno nelle vene. Penso che devono essere aiutati a due livelli: il primo riconoscere la devastazione economico-finanziaria, non hanno ricevuto quel che era giusto per loro, con gli aiuti a pioggia. Dall’altro puntare a riaperture, con gradualità e buon senso. Conosco il buon cuore dei sindaci, e chiedo di valutare una graduale riapertura con spazi all’aria aperta, un piccolo sforzo degli enti locali sul fronte burocratico, per permettere di occupare più spazi all’aperto in questa fase di transizione. I ristoratori non rappresentano solo dimensione economica – ha concluso – ma anche identitaria, storica e culturale di questa terra».
