“Io credo che in Veneto la terza ondata sia arrivata. Ci siamo presi una bella ‘sventolata’ e lo dimostra il numero di ricoveri e di mortalità eccezionale solo in un mese e mezzo”.
Lo ha detto il presidente della Regione Veneto Luca Zaia oggi nel corso del punto stampa, parlando dell’emergenza coronavirus. Il governatore del Veneto ha anche però spiegato che “le curve continuano a scendere sia per numero di nuovi contagi che di ricoveri negli ospedali”, e ha annunciato che “in Veneto oggi l’Rt è 0,82“.

Sulle nuove fasce di rischio che verranno decise domani Zaia ha invece sottolineato: “Non vi so dire se sarà ancora in zona arancione o meno. Ad oggi siamo in arancione per un fattore ‘prudenziale’, ma non avente titolo dato che i nostri parametri sono sempre stati da giallo”. Così secondo il governatore del Veneto “l’algoritmo darà il giallo per il Veneto, ma occorre valutare se sarà opportuno o meno mantenere l’arancione perché il colore della fascia cambia i nostri comportamenti”. Così Zaia ha ribadito l’importanza di rispettare le misure di sicurezza. “Tutto dipende da noi, a prescindere dal colore della fascia”.
Il governatore in conferenza stampa ha riferito che “ci sono imprenditori veneti che sono disponibili alla produzione di vaccini, tramite accordi con Pfizer o altre aziende produttrici. So che c’è chi si è detto disponibile, non so quanti siano ma sono a conoscenza che c’è un avvio di interlocuzione, appena iniziata. E la Regione Veneto è pronta con la sua finanziaria regionale ad affiancare i nostri imprenditori”.
Quanto al ritardo sulle nuove forniture dei vaccini Pfizer, Zaia ha spiegato: “Noi riusciremo a concludere la fase dei richiami, ma non di avviare le nuove vaccinazioni. La prossima settimana verrà riequilibrata la fornitura delle dosi e poi spero che da quella successiva si torni a regime”.
