Non è riuscito a trattenere le lacrime il ministro britannico della Salute, Matt Hancock, che stamani si è commosso durante un’intervista in diretta tv mentre venivano mostrate le immagini della prima donna che veniva vaccinata contro il Covid-19 nel Regno Unito.
“È stato un anno così duro per tutti e ora possiamo riprenderci le nostre vite“, ha dichiarato Hancock, invitando la popolazione a continuare a rispettare le misure. Il ministro ha quindi auspicato che “diverse milioni” di persone ricevano il vaccino entro Natale, evidenziando la necessità che tutti “rispettino” le restrizioni.
Proprio pochi giorni fa il Regno Unito aveva dichiarato di aver autorizzato l’utilizzo del vaccino Pfizer-BioNTech. I pazienti delle RSA ed il personale sanitario saranno i primi a ricevere il vaccino anti Covid, in attesa dell’arrivo delle altre dosi richieste e prenotate dal Governo.
