Una donna di 56 anni è risultata positiva al Covid-19 nel paese neo zelandese dopo essere uscita da uno dei centri di isolamento governativi in seguito a due test negativi.
Si tratta del primo caso di contagio locale nel Paese dal 18 novembre.
La donna era arrivata il 30 dicembre ad Auckland dopo aver viaggiato in Spagna e Olanda per quattro mesi.
Durante il suo periodo nel Pullman hotel, in isolamento dopo il rientro dall’hub di Londra, ha avuto due test negativi.
Era quindi uscita il 13 gennaio dalla struttura e aveva viaggiato verso il Northland con il marito visitando 30 luoghi, tra cui zone popolari e negozi.
La scorsa settimana la donna ha iniziato a accusare sintomi lievi e dolori ai muscoli. Adesso è in autoisolamento insieme al marito a Whangarei.
