E riguardo alla possibilità che si entri automaticamente in zona rossa con 250 nuovi contagiati per 100.000 abitanti lo specialista obietta: “Io sono un povero medico ospedaliero che si preoccupa di gestire con tempestività e qualità la diagnosi e la terapia della patologia. Ma credo che la mitigazione dell’incidenza di patologie gravi da infezione virale dipenda nell’ordine: da cure corrette e tempestive, dalla responsabilità di ognuno e solo in casi estremi si debba applicare la misura coercitiva su base cromatica”.
Quindi, conclude l’esperto, “un elevato numero di contagi non si traduce necessariamente in un’emergenza sanitaria. Convivere con i virus, non con il virus richiede: nervi saldi, grande attenzione ai numeri della clinica, profilassi vaccinale con un piano realistico e non utopistico, credere nell’azione di un sistema sanitario che si occupi con tempestività e rigore di tutte le patologie. Basta con i titoli ad effetto dei media che servono solo a disorientare, spaventare e proporre banalità”.
