Vilipendio alla magistratura, Salvini assolto: “aveva detto che è un cancro da estirpare”

Matteo Salvini è stato assolto dall’accusa di vilipendio alla magistratura. Il Tribunale di Torino ha emesso la sua sentenza oggi pomeriggio, constatando che il leader della Lega non è punibile per “la particolare tenuità del fatto”. Si chiude così la vicenda che aveva visto Salvini imputato per il reato di vilipendio dell’ordine giudiziario, risalente a fatti avvenuti nel 2016.

L’allora segretario federale della Lega Nord pronunciò un discorso davanti ad un migliaio di persone, riunite per un congresso regionale del partito. “Il giudice ha riconosciuto che le parole di Salvini contestualizzate a un discorso durante un congresso a cui era inibita la partecipazione dei giornalisti hanno perso la loro carica offensiva”.

Ha spiegato l’avvocato del leader della Lega. La linea difensiva di Salvini era stata proprio questa, poiché non si trattava di un comizio pubblico. L’accusa aveva chiesto la condanna a pagare una multa da 3.000 euro.

E promise: “Difenderò qualunque leghista venga indagato da quella schifezza che si chiama magistratura italiana, che è un cancro da estirpare”. All’epoca dei fatti si parlava del rinvio a giudizio di Edoardo Rixi per l’inchiesta “spese pazze” in Liguria. L’ex assessore leghista, oggi deputato, è stato assolto il 18 marzo scorso dalle accuse per insussistenza del fatto.

Salvini ha commentato l’assoluzione su Twitter: “Sono contento, ringrazio giudice e avvocato”, ha scritto il leader della Lega pochi minuti dopo la sentenza. “La Giustizia italiana va profondamente riformata, il ‘sistema Palamara’ va smontato per il bene dei cittadini e dei tanti magistrati davvero liberi e indipendenti”, ha aggiunto Salvini.
