Fila per pacchi alimentari – Non è la prima volta che accade: fuori dalla sede della onlus Pane Quotidiano in viale Toscana a Milano, in questi giorni, si è creata una lunga e sterminata fila. Sono persone, cittadini milanesi e non, che chiedono di poter ricevere un pacco di viveri. Cibo, bevande e qualsiasi cosa possa essere di aiuto per superare questo periodo.
La coda che costeggia il campus della Bocconi
Rispetto agli scorsi mesi, la coda sembrerebbe essere ancora più lunga. Simbolo forse di un peggioramento della crisi scatenata dall’emergenza Covid che da un anno tiene in ostaggio il Paese. Uomini, donne, anziani, italiani e stranieri: sono centinaia le persone con la mascherina che si sono messe in fila e che risalgono viale Toscana costeggiando poi il Campus della Bocconi. Ogni sabato, l’Associazione nelle sedi di viale Toscana e viale Monza, insieme ai volontari dona pacchi con viveri a centinaia di persone. La onlus da oltre un secondo assiste le persone indigenti offrendo cibo senza chiedere documenti né altro, come recita il loro motto affisso all’entrata delle strutture: “Sorella, fratello, nessuno qui ti domanderà chi sei, né perché hai bisogno, né quali sono le tue opinioni”.

Le code chilometriche si erano registrate sia a dicembre che a settembre scorso. E in entrambe le occasioni, il presidente contattato da Fanpage.it aveva raccontato che erano aumentati gli italiani in coda e soprattutto i giovani: “Abbiamo visto aumentare le persone di una fascia d’età media – aveva detto il presidente – dai 28-30 anni ai 50 anni, e sono aumentati gli italiani in coda, che ora raggiungono il 38-40 per cento di chi chiede aiuto”.
Le reazioni dei politici
Sono tanti i politici che quindi hanno voluto oggi commentare le immagini circolate ieri. Tra questi, Nicola Fratoianni, segretario nazionale di Sinistra Italiana che in un post su Facebook scrive: “E però queste foto che ho visto ieri mi hanno molto impressionato.Sono scattate a Milano ed è la coda per ritirare aiuti alimentari al centro “Pane Quotidiano”.Per questi nostri connazionali non esiste domenica e i giorni della settimana non fanno differenza, nelle difficoltà”.
Anche l’europarlamentare del Pd, Pierfrancesco Majorino, sui social ha scritto: “Si deve assolutamente reagire con ulteriori strumenti contro le povertà. Milano negli anni è diventata la città italiana con più risorse messe a disposizione contro l’esclusione sociale. Ma è evidente che questo non basta.Dopo la pandemia serve uno sforzo ancora maggiore”.
