Il team dell’Unità Operativa di Igiene dell’Ospedale Policlinico San Martino, diretto dal professor Giancarlo Icardi, ha isolato la variante sudafricana del Sars-Cov-2, riscontrata su una paziente di 25 anni.
La donna, di rientro dall’estero, avrebbe fatto scalo aereo in un Paese a rischio. La paziente si è auto denunciata e auto isolata. Positiva dal 31 gennaio, si è negativizzata l’8 febbraio scorso. A ora, informa il Policlinico “non sono stati rilevati casi secondari derivanti”.
