«Nel comune di Sabaudia, a Bella Farnia, è stato rilevato un caso di variante indiana all’interno della microzona rossa. Il cittadino è attualmente in quarantena vigilata dalla Asl di Latina».
Lo ha comunicato l’assessore alla Sanità della Regione Lazio Alessio D’Amato nel quotidiano aggiornamento sull’andamento dei contagi nel territorio regionale. Ciò a seguito del sequenziamento effettuato presso i laboratori dello Spallanzani di Roma. A quanto si apprende, la persona risultata positiva alla variazione del virus, non sarebbe tra quelle rientrate recentemente in Italia dall’India.
La microzona rossa è stata istituita lo scorso 30 aprile a seguito dello screening che è stato attivato dall’autorità sanitaria, in particolare sulla popolazione di braccianti indiani. I tamponi di massa stanno proseguendo su tutte le comunità indiane presenti in provincia di Latina: oggi, 11 maggio, la Asl è presente nel comune di Fondi dove sono stati eseguiti circa 300 tamponi che hanno rilevato, a screening non ancora ultimato, 13 casi positivi.
