Ricciardi lockdown – Contro il coronavirus serve una strategia che preveda anche il lockdown. Walter Ricciardi, consigliere del ministro Roberto Speranza, lo sottolinea a Che tempo che fa. “Il ministro credo sia convinto di avviare questa nuova fase. Ci siamo parlati, non si è pronunciato perché sono decisioni che deve prendere il governo e il presidente del Consiglio. Sicuramente siamo sulla linea” che prevede di “passare a questa fase. Speriamo che il governo l’appoggi. Spero che il presidente del Consiglio recepisca e vada in questa direzione, questo ci consentirà di tornare alla normalità in mesi, non in anni”, dice Ricciardi.
“Non ho rapporti con il presidente del Consiglio. Ho rappresentato al ministro della Salute che serve un cambio di rotta che preveda una strategia ‘no covid’ imperniata su 3 pilastri: lockdown intensivo e limitato nel tempo per portare i nuovi casi sotto il limite di 50 per 100.000, tracciamento e la vaccinazione a tutto spiano. Solo con queste tre attività insieme potremo tornare alla normalità”, prosegue.
“Con il ministro sono sempre stato in piena sintonia sul rigore delle misure, ma da settembre non siamo riusciti ad essere impattanti pienamente sulle decisioni del governo soprattutto perché il precedente presidente del Consiglio e alcuni ministri non erano d’accordo sull’adozione di misure così forti. La nostra è stata una proposta costante di tenere il virus sotto controllo. Oggi ci sono alcuni regioni italiane cinque volte sopra la soglia di 50 casi per 100.000 abitanti e la media italiana è tre volte sopra questa soglia”, dice ancora.
Ricciardi lockdown, le parole a Che Tempo Che Fa
Alla vigilia della riapertura degli impianti sciistici, è arrivato il provvedimento che prolunga lo stop fino al 5 marzo. “Io ho sempre consigliato di essere sinceri sin dall’inizio. La pandemia è un evento che dura anni, da ottobre sappiamo che gli impianti sciistici non possono essere aperti. Il paese che ha fatto entrare la variante inglese in Europa è la Svizzera, dove sono andati a sciare gli inglesi, negli impianti che sono stati tenuti pervicacemente aperti. Una maestra è tornata a scuola e ha infettato tutti i suoi allievi, da lì la variante si è sparsa nelle scuole svizzere”.
Ricciardi fa riferimento a “dati terrificanti” secondo cui “solo in Italia il covid ha determinato lo stop di 3 milioni di screening oncologici. Davanti a questi dati, ai dati dei morti per covid e per patologie cardiovascolari, cosa aspettiamo?”.
Misure rigorose sono state adottate da alcuni paesi e scartate da altri. “La stessa proposta” che preveda anche i lockdown “è stata fatta alla cancelliera Merkel che l’ha accolta. Il ministro della salute francese l’ha rifiutata. Il ministro” della Salute “credo sia convinto di avviare questa nuova fase. Spero che il presidente del Consiglio recepisca e vada in questa direzione, questo ci consentirà di tornare alla normalità in mesi, non in anni”.
Ricciardi lockdown, perché per lui è così importante
Perché bisogna richiudere? “Perché salva vite. Nei paesi che hanno eliminato il covid la mortalità è 100 volte inferiore, a quel punto non si fanno più lockdown e non si chiudono più le scuole. Elimini l’influenza, i cittadini si spostano liberamente e si può incentivare il turismo. Bisogna convincere la popolazione e gli operatori economici, serve un sacrificio adesso per tornare a prosperare in futuro”.
Ricciardi boccia il sistema a zone: “Nella zona rossa i casi diminuiscono, nella zona arancione restano stabili e in quella gialla aumentano. Sono stato al ristorante domenica scorsa, ho chiesto una saletta riservata. Ma se nella sala principale ci fosse stato un solo superdiffusore di variante inglese, si sarebbero infettati tutti”.
