Il virologo dell’Università degli Studi di Milano, Fabrizio Pregliasco, si dice favorevole a lockdown programmati, con cadenza periodica, che potrebbero aiutare il sistema a ‘tirare il fiato’: “un andamento periodico ben venga, è un elemento da tenere in conto, modulandolo in modo rapido rispetto all’evoluzione della situazione”.
Ad avanzare l’ipotesi di lockdown programmati una settimana al mese era stata Antonella Viola, ordinaria di immunologia all’Università di Padova.
“Questa patologia sarà con noi a lungo – ha detto Pregliasco – e quindi sarà importante abbassare la quota dei casi” per “riuscire a recuperare il contact tracing e contenere i contagi”. A
fronte di questo, la proposta di lockdown periodici è “un po’ come si faceva con la pentola a pressione, ogni tanto si faceva sfiatare il vapore” per ridurre la pressione all’interno.
Il lockdown selettivo per età, invece,che permetterebbe di tenere lontani gli over 70 dal rischio di infezione, per Pregliasco “non è la soluzione”, ma serve “un’attenzione generalizzata a ridurre il contagio”.

“No a un lockdown generale, bisognerebbe intervenire sui singoli territori. Stiamo un po’ andando nel panico, non ha senso fare un Dpcm a settimana – ha detto l’immunologa Viola – Con la mia proposta, di programmare un lockdown di una settimana al mese, ci si può organizzare anche per chi lavora e questo elimina l’ansia da Dpcm”.
Sull’ipotesi di isolare a casa gli over 70, l’esperta avverte che “questa cosa non ha davvero senso. Oggi al pronto soccorso arrivano pazienti di ogni fascia d’età – rileva – Non possiamo far circolare liberamente il virus negli altri e tenere chiusi chi ha più di 70 anni”.
Quanto a chiudere le attività commerciali prima delle 18, “fa solo accalcare le persone negli orari di apertura ed è una decisione punitiva verso i cittadini che già non possono uscire per una passeggiata“, sottolinea Viola. “In questi giorni a Padova l’aperitivo si è fatto dalle 16 alle 18: se tu restringi gli orari, poi le persone si affollano quando possono”.
