Ordine dei medici lancia l’allarme dopo la lettura dei dati sui ricoveri in ospedale e nelle terapie intensive: «Serve un lockdown totale, in tutto il Paese».
A chiederlo, dunque, alla luce dei dati, soprattutto quelli sui ricoveri in ospedale e nelle terapie intensive, è il Presidente della Federazione nazionale degli Ordini dei Medici (Fnomceo), Filippo Anelli, dalla pagina Facebook della stessa Federazione. Ecco le sue parole riportate dall’edizione online de Il Messaggero:
«Temo che le misure adottate in Puglia siano insufficienti a scongiurare il collasso del sistema sanitario»: lo afferma il presidente della Fnomceo Filippo Anelli, che è anche presidente dell’Ordine dei medici di Bari.

«Il lockdown ‘soft’ della zona arancione – evidenzia – dispiegherà i suoi effetti tra 20 giorni, quando rischia di essere ormai troppo tardi. Anche considerando che il trend di crescita rimanga costante e non abbia un andamento esponenziale, all’Immacolata rischiamo di avere 400 morti e la saturazione dei posti letto Covid che la Puglia ha a disposizione».
I dati cui fa riferimento Anelli, informa una nota, sono quelli regionali resi noti dal Ministero della Salute e aggiornati a ieri. Nella settimana dal 31 ottobre al 7 novembre in Puglia si è avuto un incremento di 5.180 positivi, con mediamente +740 soggetti positivi al SAR-COV-2 al giorno.
Nello stesso periodo i ricoveri per Covid-19 sono passati da 638 a 876, con una media di 34 nuovi ricoveri al giorno, mentre gli ingressi nelle terapie intensive sono passati da 87 a 124, con una media di 5 nuovi ingressi al giorno. I decessi sono invece cresciuti da 723 a 816, con una media di 13 persone morte per Covid-19 al giorno.
«Se questo andamento non rallenta – sottolinea Anelli – nel giro di 30 giorni avremo oltre 22mila positivi e 1876 posti letto, dei 2000 ad oggi previsti per i malati Covid, occupati».
«Se dovessimo arrivare a gennaio con questi ritmi di crescita – precisa – con l’arrivo dell’influenza stagionale il sistema andrà in tilt e non saremo più in grado di assistere né i pazienti Covid, né tutti gli altri. Le file di ambulanze dei giorni scorsi a Foggia ed Acquaviva e ieri le difficoltà al Di Venere sono la spia di un sistema che già oggi fa fatica a rispondere alle richieste di ricovero».
«Su un altro fronte – conclude Anelli – situazioni di assembramento come quelle che si sono viste ieri in Via Sparano a Bari indicano che esiste un difetto di comunicazione. I cittadini non hanno compreso che non bisogna uscire di casa. Il virus infatti si diffonde solo dall’incontro tra le persone». A riportare le sue parole è l’edizione online de Il Messaggero.
