Natalina e Anna – Sono morte all’ospedale di Palmanova, a sette giorni di distanza l’una dall’altra. Prima la mamma e poi la figlia. Erano entrambe positive al Covid. Natalina Dorigo, 90 anni, era stata ricoverata lo scorso 8 marzo mente la figlia Anna Zanello, 69 anni, era ricoverata all’ospedale dallo scorso 5 marzo. «Questo maledetto virus ce le ha portate via entrambe in pochi giorni – si sfoga Francesco, il marito di Anna e genero di Natalina –. Erano molto legate, si volevano tanto bene».

Anna Zanello, che in paese tutti chiamavano Cristina, era nata il 3 giugno 1951. Prima di cinque figli, aveva iniziato presto a lavorare in una segheria di Percoto per dare una mano alla famiglia. Dopo la nascita del figlio Daniele, Anna Zanello aveva deciso di dedicarsi alla famiglia. Una donna solare, sempre disponibile ad aiutare il prossimo, che quando aveva un po’ di tempo libero lo dedicava agli altri.Attiva nella vita della comunità, la sessantanovenne, per tanti anni ha dato una mano in cucina durante la tradizionale “Sagre dai pirus”.
Collaborava anche con la parrocchia. Madre e figlia avevano un rapporto molto stretto, che si era rafforzato ulteriormente dopo la morte di Pietro, padre di Anna Zanello e marito di Natalina Dorigo, che da qualche anno abitava assieme al figlio a Lumignacco. «Mia suocera – racconta Francesco – si è sempre data da fare per mantenere la famiglia. Era una brava persona».
