Dopo la nascita del figlio Daniele, Anna Zanello aveva deciso di dedicarsi alla famiglia. Una donna solare, sempre disponibile ad aiutare il prossimo, che quando aveva un po’ di tempo libero lo dedicava agli altri.Attiva nella vita della comunità, la sessantanovenne, per tanti anni ha dato una mano in cucina durante la tradizionale “Sagre dai pirus”.
Collaborava anche con la parrocchia. Madre e figlia avevano un rapporto molto stretto, che si era rafforzato ulteriormente dopo la morte di Pietro, padre di Anna Zanello e marito di Natalina Dorigo, che da qualche anno abitava assieme al figlio a Lumignacco. «Mia suocera – racconta Francesco – si è sempre data da fare per mantenere la famiglia.
