Matteo Bevilacqua – Era un infermiere Matteo Bevilacqua, l’uomo di Baronissi, nella provincia di Salerno, morto a causa del Coronavirus, dopo essere stato contagiato due volte. La prima volta, nella primavera del 2020, l’infermiere aveva contratto il virus mentre era in servizio, impegnato nella lotta al Sars-Cov-2 che aveva da poco fatto capolino in Italia.
Il primo contagio era stato superato senza particolari problemi: isolamento domiciliare e pochi sintomi, lievi, poi la guarigione e il ritorno al suo lavoro. Con l’inizio del nuovo anno, poco tempo fa, Matteo Bevilacqua era andato in pensione: qualche settimana fa, però, il secondo contagio. L’ex infermiere era stato ricoverato all’ospedale “Giovanni da Procida” di Salerno, dove purtroppo, per complicazioni dovute al contagio, è avvenuto il decesso.

La morte di Matteo Bevilacqua ha segnato profondamente la comunità di Baronissi. Tanti i messaggi di cordoglio che sono arrivati alla famiglia attraverso i social network, tra cui quello del sindaco di Baronissi, Gianfranco Valiante, che su Facebook ha scritto:
“Il Coronavirus non ci lascia scampo. È purtroppo deceduto all’Ospedale “Da Procida” di Salerno un altro nostro concittadino, il signor Matteo Bevilacqua, residente ad Aiello, aveva superato nella scorsa primavera un primo contagio ma la seconda infezione, contratta alcune settimane or sono, non gli ha risparmiato la vita. Le condoglianze più sentite alla compagna e alla famiglia tutta”.
Proprio Baronissi, nel novembre del 2020, era stata colpita da un’altra tragedia legata al Coronavirus. Un altro infermiere, F.B. le sue iniziali, 48 anni, si è tolto la vita dopo aver appreso della sua positività al Sars-Cov-2. In isolamento domiciliare, l’infermiere 48enne si è lanciato dal balcone della sua abitazione, trovando purtroppo la morte.
