Mattarella vaccinato – Spallanzani blindato. Questa mattina il presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella è arrivato a mezzogiorno all’ospedale romano per ricevere la vaccinazione anti-Covid.
“Era vicino a me e mi ha salutato, gran bella persona”, ha detto Wilma, appena uscita dallo Spallanzani dopo aver ricevuto la prima dose di Moderna. Lo stesso vaccino somministrato anche al capo dello Stato.
“Ero vicino al presidente ma sinceramente ero troppo nervoso per salutarlo”, confessa Mario, 80 anni, anche lui vaccinato con il presidente Mattarella.
Il Capo dello Stato – che compie 80 anni il prossimo 23 luglio – è arrivato a mezzogiorno nella struttura del quartiere Monteverde. “Per motivi di sicurezza sanitaria ma anche per motivi di ordine pubblico, con la direzione dello Spallanzani è stato concordato che nessun giornalista avrà accesso all’interno delle aree vaccinazioni”, riferisce il Quirinale in una nota, aggiungendo che verranno diffuse le immagini dell’entrata e dell’uscita di Mattarella all’interno dell’ospedale.

Il Presidente Mattarella nel suo discorso di fine anno aveva di dichiarato che si sarebbe “vaccinato appena possibile, dopo le categorie a rischio maggiore che debbono avere la precedenza. Vaccinarsi è una scelta di responsabilità, un dovere”.
Intanto il via vai di persone che escono dal centro vaccinale è costante, due sorelle di 90 e 87 anni impaurite per le telecamere, ma “contente anche di aver fatto il vaccino”.
Oggi si vaccina Mattarella? “Bene che il presidente si vaccini qui – rispondono – se è il suo turno è giusto così”. C’è la signora accompagnata dal nipote, “87 anni a giugno” e “contenta di aver fatto il vaccino. Sono stati bravissimi tutti, visto che oggi si farà il vaccino anche il presidente sono contenta due volte”. Mattarella durante la prima fase della pandemia, il 2 giugno 2020, aveva visitato lo Spallanzani ringraziando gli operatori sanitari per il lavoro svolto nei mesi più difficili.
