Immunologa Viola – Antonella Viola, immunologa, ha parlato ai microfoni di La 7 nel corso della puntata di mercoledì 7 aprile di Otto e Mezzo condotto da Lilli Gruber. Ecco le sue parole in merito ai vaccini:

“Contesto l’affermazione secondo cui le scelte delle agenzie regolatorie come l’Ema siano influenzate dalla politica e dai governi. L’Aifa quando blocca i vaccini lo fa perchè i dati sono dubbi. Quando invece lo approva lo fa perché è sicura”.

“I Governi poi fanno altre scelte. Per quanto riguarda i vaccini a disposizione, AstraZeneca dall’inizio si è distinta per una campagna di comunicazione e un trial clinico fatto male. Il problema che c’è stato all’inizio degli under 55, degli over 55 eccetera, dipendeva dal fatto che aveva fatto un trial clinico con poche persone sopra i 55 anni”.

“Ecco perché Ema aveva approvato il vaccino, ma non avendo molti dati sopra i 55 anni ha lasciato decidere ai vari stati. Alcuni hanno detto lo approviamo per tutti, altri solo per gli under 55 anni”.

“Pfizer e Moderna abbiamo dati sicuri e non c’è nessun rischio, per AstraZeneca se c’è un problema di vettore per quanto riguarda le trombosi, vorrà dire che anche con Johnson e Johnson e Sputnik potrebbe esserci lo stesso problema”.
