Covid Bari – Sta commuovendo tutti, all’ospedale Covid della fiera del Levante di Bari, la storia di un ragazzo di 28 anni, colpito duramente dal virus, ora è in terapia intensiva dove, nonostante la giovane età lotta tra la vita e la morte.
Ma questa malattia lo ha già colpito in famiglia, due volte. Il ragazzo infatti ha perso i genitori a causa del Covid. Prima ha perso il padre, poco più che 65 enne, poi la madre.
Ora lui è malato, in condizioni molto serie, ed è stata contagiata anche la sorella, anche se fortunatamente in una forma meno grave. I medici dell’ospedale barese si stanno stringendo attorno al ragazzo così duramente coinvolto in questa pandemia.
Il giovane è costantemente sotto controllo, ma la sua situazione preoccupa anche a causa di una leggere obesità che, come dimostrato da alcuni studi, rappresenta un fattore di rischio aggiuntivo, anche per i pazienti in giovane età.
Covid Bari, la triste storia di un 28enne in terapia intensiva
Intanto la situazione in Puglia si fa sempre più drammatica. Sia i reperti di terapia intensiva, sia quelli Covid sono oltre le soglie di allarme e così sono tornati gli elicotteri e fare la spola tra i nosocomi della regione, per cercare di dare una degna assistenza a tutti i malati.
Come un paio di giorni fa a Foggia, quando un uomo è stato trasportato d’urgenza con un elicottero a Bari e da lì in ambulanza all’ospedale di Monopoli, dove c’era un posto libero – racconta Repubblica Bari – .
Nei reparti Covid ieri erano ricoverate 1.844 persone. Ancora in crescita il tasso di occupazione – stando ai dati Agenas – al 38 per cento in Terapia intensiva, dove la soglia critica è al 30, e al 43 per cento in Area medica, per la quale le criticità sono oltre il tetto del 40.
Resta però irrisolto il problema del personale sanitario da impiegare alla Fiera del Levante, dove i pazienti sono arrivati a 70, dopo la fumata nera dell’incontro fra sindacati e Asl di Bari, che aveva ipotizzato il trasferimento di due reparti dell’ospedale San Paolo e dei medici a supporto.
