Una storia paradossale, quanto incredibile e macabra, quella consumata ieri a Pratola Peligna (L’Aquila) dove dopo aver celebrato il funerale di Aldo Di Simone, il sessantenne che era rimasto infetto nel reparto di Cardiologia di Sulmona dopo essere entrato con tampone negativo, i carabinieri hanno fermato la tumulazione della salma al cimitero”.

“Dentro quella bara, su cui avevano pianto familiari e amici poco prima, infatti, non c’era la salma del sessantenne di Pratola, ma di un altro morto all’ospedale di Pescara dove Di Simone è morto mercoledì scorso e dove sembra si sia consumato lo scambio di salma al momento della chiusura della cassa”.

“Le procedure di riconsegna dei deceduti positivi, infatti, sono diverse da quelle ordinarie: la salma deve essere richiusa subito nella cassa e non può essere esposta, per cui nessuno tra i familiari ha potuto verificare che dentro ci fosse il loro caro. Così non è restato che riconsegnare il feretro ai carabinieri per farsi ridare indietro quello giusto”.

“Una storia dolorosa già di per sé quella del sessantenne di Pratola, che è morto certo per la sua patologia pregressa da cardiopatico, ma le cui condizioni sono state quasi sicuramente aggravate dal virus che ha contratto nel reparto di Cardiologia di Sulmona dove era ricoverato”.
