“Ho molta paura per la variante Delta sui non vaccinati. Il rischio è avere forme più aggressive del virus“. Ho molta paura per la variante Delta sui non vaccinati; oggi abbiamo 30 mlioni di persone vaccinate, è verosimile che ne avremo 45 alla fine dell’estate, vaccinate con 2 dosi. Ma forse il 70% del gregge vaccinato non basta con la variante Delta, dobbiamo crescere e arrivare all’80-90%“, aggiunge. “La mia paura è per quel 20% che non si vuole o non si può vaccinare. Avremo casi in autunno, è fisiologico. Il rischio è avere forme più aggressive sui non vaccinati rispetto a quello che abbiamo visto fino a oggi”, afferma ancora.
“I numeri della pandemia ora sono molto buoni, ma sono preoccupato perchè non bisogna pensare ad un ‘liberi tutti’. E’ facile vaccinarsi quando la pandemia è in fase di espansione, più difficile farlo ora ma è necessario farlo per affrontare le varianti”, ribadisce.
