Bassetti denuncia – Il Prof. Matteo Bassetti, direttore della Clinica di Malattie infettive dell’ospedale San Martino di Genova e componente della task force Covid-19 della Liguria, racconta su Facebook il suo punto di vista in merito del 2021. Ecco il suo messaggio sui social:
“Ultimo giorno di questo 2020; come quasi tutti i giorni degli ultimi 11 mesi sono qui nel mio ospedale. La situazione clinica dei pazienti è discreta con numerose dimissioni e molti posti liberi. Siamo organizzati e pronti qualora ci fosse un aumento di casi nelle prossime settimane. È stato un 2020 molto difficile per tutti”.
“Ci sono state tante perdite umane a causa del Covid: a tutti quelli che non ce l’hanno fatta va un pensiero speciale da parte mia sia come medico che come cittadino. Se dovessi dire chi ha vinto e chi ha perso nel 2020 a causa del Covid, non avrei dubbi a dire che abbiamo un vincitore che è la ricerca medico-scientifica e uno sconfitto che la cultura e la scuola”.
“La ricerca ha vinto perché ci ha dato in pochissimo tempo armi per prevenire e curare questa malattia nuova concludendo l’anno con ben due vaccini già approvati e disponibili. Chi esce sconfitto, se non addirittura morta, è la cultura, la scuola e l’università. Cinema, teatri, aule di scuola superiore, aule di Universita, tirocini pratici, musei, ecc. sono chiusi da troppo tempo”.
“In Italia si è uccisa la cultura della socializzazione. Si parla tanto di aiutare la ripresa economica, che è sicuramente fondamentale, ma non dimentichiamoci che in campo culturale, non si può andare avanti così ancora per molto”.
“Continuando con le chiusure, le conseguenze saranno devastanti sulle future generazioni. Occorre trovare una soluzione per tornare in sicurezza all’esercizio della Cultura e della Istruzione. Quelle vere!!
