AstraZeneca Olanda – L’Olanda ha deciso di sospendere le somministrazioni del vaccino anti-Covid AstraZeneca per tutti. La decisione giunge dopo quella di ieri di limitare temporaneamente la vaccinazione agli over 60: lo stop è previsto fino al 7 aprile per evitare di sprecare dosi.
Solo ieri il ministro della Salute olandese aveva comunicato uno stop momentaneo alle somministrazioni del vaccino prodotto dall’azienda anglo-svedese per gli under 60 dopo nuovi casi “gravi” di trombosi cerebrali riscontrati nel Paese.
Oggi invece lo stesso ministro ha fatto sapere che fino al 7 aprile tutte le somministrazioni del vaccino AstraZeneca sono sospese fino al 7 aprile, questo per evitare di dover sprecare dosi proprio dopo la decisione di ieri.

Come riportato da AdnKronos sono circa 700 le persone over 60 che avrebbero dovuto ricevere in questi giorni il vaccino AstraZeneca, ma i loro appuntamenti sono stati cancellati dato che non vi era garanzia di riuscire ad usare tutte le dosi nelle provette. Al momento circa 400mila persone hanno ricevuto una dose di vaccino AstraZeneca in Olanda.
Secondo il quotidiano olandese Volkskrant che ieri ha dato per primo notizia della sospensione al vaccino prodotto da AstraZeneca, nel Paese sono stati registrati alcuni casi di effetti collaterali, con trombosi estesa in combinazione con un basso numero di piastrine dopo la vaccinazione con il vaccino AstraZeneca.
L’effetto indesiderato si è verificato da 7 a 10 giorni dopo la vaccinazione in donne di età compresa tra 25 e 65 anni.
