13enne positivo a Perugia. Un ritratto sociale drammatico dell’emergenza economica e sanitaria causata dalla pandemia. A Perugia un 13enne positivo al Covid è stato costretto a dormire in auto per diverse notti per non contagiare la famiglia.

La loro casa infatti è troppo piccola per garantire l’isolamento del ragazzo. Un piccolo bagno e una stanza dove vivono in cinque: mamma, papà e tre figli, il 13enne e i fratellini di 9 e due anni. Il padre Yacine, disperato, ha raccontato ai media locali di aver passato tutte le notti vicino alla macchina per sorvegliare l’adolescente.

L’appello dell’uomo però non è rimasto inascoltato: Edi Cicchi, assessore alle politiche sociali del Comune di Perugia, si è attivato per trovare una sistemazione al 13enne. Verrà fatto alloggiare in un hotel di Città di Castello, allestito per i pazienti Covid asintomatici che nella loro abitazione sono impossibilitati a mantenere il distanziamento necessario dai familiari.

Yacine, 47enne di origine algerine ma regolarmente residente in Italia, ha scoperto la positività del figlio per caso, dopo un tampone fatto a causa di un contatto sospetto a scuola. Con il risultato positivo per la famiglia è iniziato il dramma.

Fortunatamente il 13enne ha solo sintomi lievi ma le sue condizioni avrebbero potuto aggravarsi continuando a vivere e dormire in auto, esposto alle intemperie e senza le cure necessarie.

Il padre, che di mestiere fa l’imbianchino ma da mesi non trova lavoro, non riesce neanche più a pagare l’affitto del monolocale dove vivono: trovare una stanza per il figlio in questo momento sarebbe stato impossibile. Dopo il risultato del tampone, aveva provato a chiamare i carabinieri, la polizia e la Asl ma tutti gli hanno detto di non poterlo aiutare.

Il 47enne ha cercato più volte nel corso degli anni di fare domanda per una casa popolare ma si è sempre trovato di fronte a un rifiuto: gli è stato detto che non aveva i requisiti necessari e che c’erano famiglie più bisognose della sua. “Non voglio soldi. Sono venuto in Italia nel 1995 per farmi una famiglia, trovare un lavoro, una casa e vivere sereno. Non per andare alla Caritas”, ha detto disperato a Il Messaggero.
