“Al di là delle misure previste, delle forme con cui sono date le indicazioni va considerato lo spirito di questo Decreto legge che ribadisce il concetto che in questo momento ogni contatto interumano deve essere considerato a rischio e, in modo forzoso, quello che il provvedimento vuole intendere è che dobbiamo centellinare questi contatti. Quindi il decreto va interpretato come qualcosa che ci deve portare con buonsenso a tralasciare le usanze, la voglia di stare insieme, di ritrovarsi. In gioco non c’è il Natale, ma la riapertura delle scuole che sarebbe messa a rischio da una risalita dei contagi“.
Lo sottolinea all’Adnkronos Salute il virologo dell’università degli Studi di Milano, Fabrizio Pregliasco, commentando il contenuto del decreto di Natale presentato dal premier Giuseppe Conte ieri sera.
Il provvedimento si muove secondo lo schema dell’alternanza zona rossa-zona arancione che ha caratterizzato le misure per gestire la seconda ondata di Covid-19 in Italia. E che viene adesso applicato per modulare le restrizioni intensificandole in corrispondenza di Natale e Capodanno.
“L’attuale modalità di lockdown – commenta Pregliasco – ci ha portato buoni risultati. Riducendo la fase esponenziale e appiattendo la curva” di Covid-19, “ma stavolta non si è riusciti a controllare la malattia. Riusciamo solo a mitigarla, a ridurre la velocità con cui i casi si presentano. Quella che stiamo affrontando però è una lunga maratona ed è comprensibile che si cerchi di mediare fra le esigenze economiche e la necessità di prendere respiro dalla pandemia”.
Quindi i sacrifici che ci obbligheranno a un Natale diverso. E “l’attenzione che ci viene chiesta deve essere vista nell’ottica di un impegno per la riapertura delle scuole“. Il 7 gennaio sarà un giorno clou per molti ragazzi. E l’obiettivo del ritorno alle lezioni in presenza anche per le scuole superiori rischia di allontanarsi se si va incontro a un rimbalzo di Covid-19. Per questo viene richiesto “uno sforzo rilevante in più perché quello che ci deve interessare sono anche i giovani, già provati da lunghi periodi di Dad, e il loro futuro”, conclude Pregliasco.
