Polizia salva nonna e nipotini – La signora cinese si è trascinata disperata sul ballatoio: «Aiuto, i miei nipotini non respirano!». Qualcuno ha chiamato la polizia, che sabato mattina si è precipitata in via Teano, nel quartiere Comasina, periferia nord di Milano. I poliziotti dell’Ufficio Prevenzione Generale, insieme al personale sanitario, hanno subito raggiunto l’appartamento della 62enne cinese.
La nonna aveva lasciato i suoi due nipotini, di 5 e 6 anni, a lavarsi in bagno, ed era andata ad accudire la loro sorellina di un anno nella culla. Poi, preoccupata perché i due maschietti tardavano a uscire, era entrata nel bagno, trovandoli riversi a terra e privi di coscienza. Lei stessa si è sentita male e a fatica è riuscita a uscire sul ballatoio per chiedere aiuto.

Gli agenti delle volanti hanno subito avvertito difficoltà a respirare: l’appartamento era saturo di monossido di carbonio, gas altamente tossico se in alta concentrazione, prodotto probabilmente dal malfunzionamento di uno scaldabagno a gas o da una canna fumaria ostruita.
Sono riusciti comunque ad entrare, hanno preso in braccio i due fratellini e la sorellina di un anno e li hanno portati all’esterno insieme alla nonna, riuscendo così a mettere in salvo tutti. Nonna e nipotini sono stati poi trasportati presso l’ospedale per le cure contro l’intossicazione subita, fortunatamente senza gravi conseguenze.
