È caccia a una pantera avvistata nelle campagne di Castellana Grotte, in provincia di Bari. L’animale si aggira da qualche giorno nella zona e l’ultimo avvistamento è avvenuto in contrada Termiteto, tra Castellana e Monopoli. Alcuni cittadini, che hanno segnalato la presenza del felino al sindaco, sono riusciti anche a scattare alcune fotografie.
“Niente panico, ma prudenza“, ha scritto su Facebook il primo cittadino, Francesco De Ruvo. Già nella mattinata aveva allertato la prefettura e i carabinieri della forestale per “un pronto intervento” al fine di “tutelare la sicurezza e l’incolumità pubblica”. I militari sono scesi in campo affiancati dai veterinari dello zoo Safari di Fasano.
L’avvistamento della pantera nel Barese fa seguito a delle segnalazioni avvenute nei mesi scorsi, prima nel Foggiano e poi nei pressi di Ostuni, nel Brindisino. Impossibile però stabilire se si tratti dello stesso felino. L’unica cosa certa è che negli ultimi giorni nella zona di Castellana si sono moltiplicate le segnalazioni.

a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
