Lutto a Ceneda in provincia di Treviso per la morte di Rossana De Santis, da molti anni operatrice socio-sanitaria nella casa di riposo “Padre Pio” di Tarzo. La 54enne è stata colpita da un malore mercoledì mattina mentre si trovava a casa di un’amica a Serravalle.
Immediata la chiamata dei soccorsi e il trasporto della donna in ospedale a Conegliano dove, nonostante le cure e il prodigarsi dei medici, il suo cuore ha smesso di battere poche ore dopo. Cordoglio unanime nel quartiere di Ceneda dove la donna, moglie del parrucchiere Roberto Gaiot, era molto conosciuta.
Oltre al marito, sposato nel 2015, la 54enne lascia la figlia Jessica, il fratello Massimo, cognati e nipoti. Il funerale sarà celebrato lunedì alle 11 nella Cattedrale di Ceneda dove domani sera alle 18 verrà recitato il rosario.

La notizia del decesso di Rossana, oltre che sulla sua famiglia, è piombata su colleghi ed amici. La 54enne non soffriva di particolari patologie, né aveva avuto avvisaglie di quell’infarto che in poche ore l’ha portata alla morte.
«Ho avuto la fortuna di conoscere e di lavorare con una grande donna che il destino purtroppo ha chiamato lassù da dove potrà guidarci per accompagnarci nel nostro lavoro con la passione e la cura che lei ci metteva sempre» le parole di cordoglio di una collega.
«Grande donna, grande amica e grande collega: non la dimenticheremo mai. Sarei sempre con noi – aggiunge un’altra operatrice della casa di riposo – e da lassù ci aiuterai ad assistere i nostri nonni». Rossana era una persona solare, generosa e altruista. E anche alla fine questo suo modo di essere non è venuto meno: i suoi famigliari hanno acconsentito all’espianto di cornee e tessuti.
