“Abbi cura di splendere”, scriveva Martina Bonaretti su Instagram a sintetizzare il suo approccio alla vita.
Una vita che però si è spenta a soli 21 anni per Covid.
La giovane abitava nella Bassa reggiana, a Luzzara.
Era stata ricoverata giovedì nell’ospedale di Guastalla, e ieri si è spenta, come ha reso noto l’ex sindaco di Luzzara Andrea Costa.
Si tratta della più giovane vittima del Covid in regione dall’inizio della pandemia.
Il funerale sarà trasmesso in streaming dalla parrocchia, anche per i genitori che – positivi – non avrebbero potuto prendervi parte.

“Stasera si è spenta una straordinaria ragazza, che aveva solamente 21 anni e che è stata aggredita dal Covid. Martina Bonaretti la conoscevo da quando è nata, come conosco tutta la sua splendida famiglia”, scrive l’ex sindaco. Al quale non risulta che la giovane soffrisse di patologie pregresse sebbene presentasse fattori di rischio (“Stava bene, da quel che so”).
Quindi, prosegue il post. “Lo so che da mesi, purtroppo, sentiamo parlare di decessi, e già altre famiglie hanno dovuto piangere i loro cari. Ma questa sera è diverso. Questa sera fa più effetto perché la malattia ha spezzato una vita che stava ancora germogliando. Usiamo meno leggerezza d’ora in avanti nel parlare della malattia, e quella leggerezza invece mettiamola nei rapporti tra le persone che spesso si deteriorano per delle stupidaggini. Usiamo di più il cuore, come sapeva fare Martina – conclude l’ex sindaco luzzarese – come le avevano insegnato a fare nella sua generosa famiglia a cui va il mio abbraccio più forte”.
I genitori della vittima sono positivi al Coronavirus e, strazio ulteriore, non potranno partecipare alle esequie, che si svolgeranno domani, 19 novembre, alle 14.30 nella Chiesa parrocchiale di Luzzara.
La capienza è di 90 persone, ma la cerimonia sarà trasmessa in streaming sul canale dell’Oratorio di Luzzara per consentire a chi non riuscirà ad esserci fisicamente, di parteciparvi comunque, fa sapere la sindaca di Luzzara Elisabetta Sottili.
“Non ho parole di fronte alla tragedia per la morte di Martina, portata via dal Covid. Niente può valere i suoi 21 anni, i suoi occhi grandi e belli, il suo sorriso, la sua promessa di vita… Come tanti di voi”, scrive Sottili su Facebook.
“Martina l’ho vista crescere, in paese, in parrocchia: bambina, ragazza e poi giovane donna, e la sua scomparsa ci sconvolge e ci lascia increduli“.
“Da prima cittadina – prosegue Sottili – sento di potervi rappresentare tutti nel trasmettere la nostra vicinanza e il nostro affetto alla sua famiglia, colpita così duramente dalla cosa più innaturale che possa esserci, un dolore inimmaginabile che sa solo chi lo ha provato. Ai parenti e agli amici, a chi la conosceva e le voleva bene. D’accordo con i genitori sarò presente al funerale con la fascia tricolore, e questo sarà il segno visibile del nostro abbraccio, di chi non potrà fisicamente partecipare (purtroppo non ci sarà posto per tutti) e del ricordo che porteremo dentro di noi di Martina“.
