Loretta Goggi ha la voce rotta dalle lacrime quando, al rientro dalla pubblicità, annuncia in diretta a Tale e Quale Show della morte di Stefano D’Orazio, il batterista dei Pooh.

“Non sapevo che stava male” spiega “ma gli ero molto legata e abbiamo passato tante avventure insieme. Purtroppo aveva delle patologie, ma il Covid ha portato via anche lui. È stato il Covid”. 

Dopo queste parole, un lungo applauso dai presenti negli studi della Dear intitolati a Fabrizio Frizzi è stato tributato al grande batterista dei Pooh.

La morte di Stefano D’Orazio lascia senza parole tutto il mondo dell’arte. Milioni di fan dei Pooh in queste ore sono rimasti sgomenti. Roby Facchinetti, a nome di tutta la band, ha annunciato su Twitter che il batterista, voce e paroliere storico della band, era ricoverato da due settimane in gravi condizioni. Solo nel suo rispetto e nella speranza di un suo miglioramento, non avevano diffuso la notizia.

Due ore fa… era ricoverato da una settimana e per rispetto non ne avevamo mai parlato… oggi pomeriggio, dopo giorni di paura, sembrava che la situazione stesse migliorando… poi, stasera, la terribile notizia.
Abbiamo perso un fratello, un compagno di vita, il testimone di tanti momenti importanti, ma soprattutto, tutti noi, abbiamo perso una persona per bene, onesta prima di tutto con se stessa.
Preghiamo per lui.

Stefano D’Orazio, lo storico batterista dei Pooh, aveva 72 anni. Il primo ad annunciare la sua morte è stato l’amico Bobo Craxi su Twitter. Il musicista non aveva figli, ma aveva sposato il 12 settembre 2017, nel giorno del suo sessantanovesimo compleanno, la compagna Tiziana Giardoni. In passato, ha avuto lunghe storie d’amore con Lena Biolcati e con l’annunciatrice Emanuela Folliero.
