Lutto a Mirano –  Non gli mancava nulla, se non la parola. Ma soprattutto non ha mai fatto mancare nulla a Michele e Sara, i genitori, che oggi piangono la perdita di un figlio davvero speciale.
Simone Barison se n’è andato martedì a soli vent’anni. Ultime notizie drammatiche da Mirano.

Dalla nascita era affetto da una disabilità, venuto al mondo senza un cromosoma, ma capace di dare tutto quando un figlio può dare. Viveva con i genitori a Ballò e in paese tutti sono pronti ora a rendergli l’estremo commosso saluto. «Gli mancava solo la parola – lo ricorda oggi commosso il padre Michele – per il resto era fisicamente un ragazzo perfetto. Camminava, mangiava, viaggiava, gli manca solo di esprimersi a parole, ma lo sapeva fare benissimo con gli occhi». Simone amava correre, muoversi, giocare, soprattutto in compagnia dei suoi due labrador.

Lo sguardo, il sorriso sono ciò che resterà a mamma e papà e soprattutto con queste due armi Simone ha saputo esprimere qualsiasi emozione, anche quando, un anno fa, ha cominciato a stare male: a gennaio del 2020 quella malattia rara che lo accompagnava fin dalla nascita si è manifestata sotto forma di polmonite.

Da lì è iniziato il suo calvario: Simone è stato seguito prima a Mirano e Dolo, poi a Padova, negli ultimi mesi di lui si è occupato il personale dell’Opera della Provvidenza Sant’Antonio, sempre a Padova. Lo ha strappato alla vita e ai suoi cari un’insufficienza respiratoria.


«Un ragazzo solare – ripete il padre – che sapeva esprimere mille emozioni: viaggiavamo, guarda il mondo e sorrideva. A noi bastava il suo sorriso e il suo sguardo: gli occhi dicevano tutto». I funerali sono in programma domani, venerdì, alle 15 nella chiesa della sua Ballò, questa sera invece, sempre in chiesa, alle 19 verrà recitato il Santo Rosario.

La famiglia ha chiesto di devolvere offerte all’Opera della Provvidenza Sant’Antonio che amorevolmente ha accompagnato il ragazzo negli ultimi passi della sua breve ma intensa vita.
