Luca Savogin – Si è arreso proprio il giorno dopo aver compiuto 51 anni Luca Savogin, di Boara in provincia di Padova, scomparso ieri mattina dopo una dura lotta contro la malattia che lo perseguitava da gennaio dell’anno scorso. Persona molto amata e conosciuta in paese tanto da essere chiamato con il soprannome di “sindaco” perché regalava sempre un sorriso a tutti e sapeva intrattenere rapporti amichevoli con chiunque lo conoscesse.
Era tornato a casa da poco dopo aver lasciato l’ospedale di Milano nel quale aveva subito un’operazione per stare vicino al padre anch’egli malato da tempo e scomparso pochi mesi fa. Grande lavoratore tanto da non chiedere mai un permesso né un giorno di ferie se non costretto. Lavorava alla Verbo di Solesino come operaio da più di trent’anni, azienda che era diventata una seconda famiglia per lui.

Lascia un vuoto immenso soprattutto per la mamma e i fratelli che lo ricordano come un vero e proprio trascinatore, che sapeva confortare e far sorridere tutti quasi a voler dimenticare il suo stato di salute. Numerosi i commenti postati sulla sua pagina social nella quale proprio domenica aveva aggiornato il messaggio di saluto ringraziando tutti per gli auguri ricevuti e chiedendo scusa se avesse dimenticato qualcuno, quasi se la sentisse che non avrebbe fatto in tempo a salutare tutti personalmente come era solito fare.
Tantissimi gli amici che hanno lasciato un commento, chi di stupore, chi di amarezza ma tutti ricordano Luca come una persona solare e buona. Alcuni gli dedicano un messaggio rivolgendosi direttamente a lui come se potesse sentire da lassù dicendo “Resterai sempre nel mio cuore. Una persona speciale avevi una dote unica facevi sempre sorridere tutti” e ancora “Così giovane e solare, se ne vanno tutti in punta di piedi lasciando un grande vuoto”.
Lo ricorda anche il vicesindaco Andrea Gastaldello che lo descrive come: «Un tipo solare, che quando ci parlavi insieme stavi bene, amava gli animali specialmente i cavalli. Lui stesso aveva tre pony e un cavallo. Persona semplice – aggiunge – e gran lavoratore, conosciuto in paese con il soprannome di sindaco perché riusciva ad avere rapporti cordiali con tutti».
Il “sindaco” era solito frequentare il centro equestre “Scuderia Cavalieri della Rocca” di Monselice dove trovava la serenità tra i suoi amati cavalli, facendo lunghe passeggiate immerso nella natura tra le colline e le campagne padovane. L’ultimo saluto si terrà domani alle ore 15.30 nella chiesa di Santa Maria della Neve di Boara Pisani.
