Lino Banfi si è vaccinato. Lo racconta l’attore pugliese, 85 anni, all’Adnkronos, invitando gli italiani e in particolare i più anziani a sottoporsi a qualunque tipo di vaccino: “Bisogna mettere sulla bilancia il bene e il male, prima di tutto dobbiamo vaccinarci”. Ci voleva forse l’ironia di Nonno Libero e il suo stile comico e rassicurante per convincere i più scettici sull’importanza di vaccinarsi, per il bene proprio e quello dei propri cari: “Io l’ho fatto perché ho 85 anni e ho qualche problemino scritto sulle mie cartelle cliniche e sono stato fortunato a farlo”.
Lino Banfi ci aveva messo la faccia. Lo scorso dicembre, quando ancora la campagna vaccinale era in fase di rodaggio. L’attore però aveva sin da subito messo in chiaro: “Io il vaccino lo farò non appena sarà possibile, non esiterò un attimo”, disposto persino a farsi vaccinare in diretta tv, se necessario, per convincere i più restii. Oltre tre mesi dopo è finalmente arrivato il suo turno e così anche Lino Banfi, 85 anni, si è sottoposto al vaccino anti Covid. “Io ho fatto il vaccino Moderna ma se mi avessero detto di fare Astrazeneca lo avrei fatto tranquillamente”, ha spiegato all’Adnkronos provando ad abbattere lo scetticismo verso il vaccino più discusso, che a causa delle numerose disdette ha portato ad un grave rallentamento della campagna vaccinale.
Con il suo inconfondibile e stile ironico l’attore ha voluto rassicurare le persone più anziane, invitandoli a non cedere alle perplessità: “A tutti gli 80enni che si sentono abbandonati dico: fate subito Astrazeneca, adesso si va più sicuri perché avranno tutti paura e avanzeranno tante dosi che scadono”. E in risposta su chi è ancora scettico sui vaccini ha detto: “Non li capisco, se lo fate avete il 99 per cento di salvare voi e le vostre famiglie”. A breve saranno disponibili in Italia anche le dosi del vaccino Johnson & Johnson, Lino Banfi ha commentato con ironia: “Se lo fate vi regalano pure uno shampoo”. Ma il messaggio dell’attore è assolutamente serio: “Se gli italiani vogliono uscire da questo casino e riaprire i bar, i ristoranti e soprattutto la loro vita devono cambiare mentalità. Perché quello che si sta chiudendo è la nostra vita”.
