Istituto Superiore Sanità – Incendiato il portone d’ingresso dell’Istituto superiore di Sanità a Roma. In serata è stato cosparso di liquido infiammabile e incendiato.
I responsabili si sono dati alla fuga. Sul posto i carabinieri che indagano sull’accaduto. Il portone è stato danneggiato dalle fiamme e il fumo ha invaso l’atrio dell’istituto. I custodi sono intervenuti e hanno dato l’allarme. Alcuni dipendenti aveva da poco lasciato l’Istituto.
Al vaglio dei carabinieri le immagini delle telecamere della strade attorno all’Istituto superiore di sanità che potrebbero avere ripreso chi ha dato fuoco al portone di ingresso. Al momento gli investigatori non escludono nessuna pista, dal gesto di un folle ad un atto dimostrativo.
A spegnere le fiamme con un estintore in dotazione all’auto di servizio una pattuglia dei carabinieri. Ancora in corso i rilievi del Nucleo Investigativo che faranno un’informativa per la Procura. I danni non sarebbero ingenti.

“Sono inaccettabili gli atti intimidatori contro l’Istituto Superiore di Sanità. A Silvio Brusaferro e a tutte le donne e gli uomini dell’ISS va il mio pieno sostegno e la gratitudine per il lavoro straordinario fatto ogni giorno al servizio del Paese. Il nemico è il virus. Non chi si impegna per combatterlo”. Lo scrive il ministro della Salute Roberto Speranza in un post si Fb.
“L’Istituto, fin dall’inizio della pandemia, lavora incessantemente per dare il massimo sostegno scientifico alla gestione dell’emergenza nell’unico interesse di tutelare la salute di tutti i cittadini e delle nostre comunità. Continueremo perciò a servire il nostro Paese per superare insieme questa pandemia”.
E’ quanto il Presidente dell’Istituto Silvio Brusaferro e il Direttore Generale Andrea Piccioli hanno dichiarato in merito a quello che il ministro ha definito “un attacco intimidatorio” compiuto questa sera contro la sede dell’Istituto Superiore di Sanità.
Il presidente dell’Istituto Superiore di Sanità Silvio Brusaferro, assieme al direttore Andrea Piccioli, in una comunicazione interna ai dipendenti sull’incendio al portone del palazzo di viale Regina Elena di questa sera, raccomanda di alzare il livello di attenzione. “Oltre ai sistemi di sorveglianza ed allerta già in essere – si legge nella comunicazione – raccomandiamo a tutti massima attenzione e vigilanza” .
“Uso parole più forti rispetto a quelle del ministro Speranza: lo ritengo un atto oltraggiosamente intimidatorio, assolutamente intimidatorio e chiaramente inaccettabile. Chi lavora all’Iss prova, come tante altre persone, a offrire un servizio al Paese, per cercare di far gestire all’Italia nel migliore dei modi un problema che ha investito tutto il mondo. A loro va il massimo della solidarietà, è un atto da condannare a tutti i livelli”. Lo ha affermato il presidente del Consiglio superiore di sanità (Css) Franco Locatelli, ospite di Buongiorno su Sky Tg24, parlando dell’incendio appiccato al portone della sede dell’Iss.
