Incidente Marsala – Ultime notizie in merito ad una tragedia in Sicilia. Una giovane mamma, Veronica Di Maggio di 27 anni, di Trapani, è morta, oggi pomeriggio, in un incidente sulla strada a scorrimento veloce Marsala-Birgi, nei pressi della rotatoria vicino all’aeroporto Vincenzo Flori.
In gravi condizioni i suoi due figli, di 2 e 3 anni, trasferiti all’ospedale Civico di Palermo. Meno gravi le condizioni della ragazza (C.R., di 21 anni) che era alla guida dell’auto, una Toyota Yaris, su cui viaggiavano.

Pare che la giovane alla guida dell’utilitaria abbia perso il controllo del mezzo, invadendo l’altra corsia e scontrandosi contro un autocarro Volvo guidato da un 43enne. L’impatto frontale non ha dato scampo alla Di Maggio. La donna è morta sul colpo.
Sul posto sono intervenuti i vigili del fuoco per estrarla dalle lamiere contorte dell’auto. Sul luogo dell’incidente sono arrivati anche polizia e vigili urbani di Marsala, che hanno avviato indagini per accertare l’esatta dinamica dell’incidente. Sul posto la polizia municipale di Marsala.
