Un morto e un ferito grave oltre al traffico completamente paralizzato in autostrada. Questo è il drammatico bilancio di uno spaventoso incidente stradale avvenuto nel pomeriggio di oggi sull’autostrada A10 Genova – Ventimiglia. La tragedia si è consumata oggi pomeriggio intorno alle 16 nel tratto autostradale tra Albenga e Ceriale al chilometro 78 e ha coinvolto due tir. Secondo una prima ricostruzione dell’accaduto, uno dei due mezzi pesanti, per motivi tutti da accertare, avrebbe sbandato improvvisamente invadendo la corsia opposta di marcia dove proprio in quel momento stava sopraggiungendo l’altro camion che è stato centrato in pieno. Il camion ha divelto il guardrail spartitraffico e lo schianto tra i due tir è stato inevitabile e spaventoso.

Quando i primi soccorsi sono giunti sul posto, le cabine di guida erano ridotte ad un ammasso di lamiera e i due conducenti erano intrappolati all’interno. Nonostante i tempestivi soccorsi, per uno dei camionisti purtroppo non c’è stato nulla da fare: l’uomo è morto sul colpo. Ferito gravemente invece l’altro autista coinvolto. L’uomo è stato estratto dalle lamiere dai vigili del fuoco e consegnato ai sanitari del 118 accorsi sul posto con diverse ambulanze. Vista la gravità delle ferite la centrale operativa ha inviato sul posto anche l’elicottero di soccorso Grifo. Dopo averlo stabilizzato sul posto, i sanitari hanno provveduto al trasporto immediato del ferito all’ospedale Santa Corona di Pietra Ligure in codice rosso di massima gravità.
A seguito dello schianto uno dei due mezzi pesanti, un’autocisterna, si è anche rovesciata sulla carreggiata invadendo entrambe le corsie di marcia dell’autostrada A10. Per questo l’intero tratto è stato chiuso alla circolazione in entrambi i sensi di marcia e sul posto si sono formate lunghe code di veicoli. Il tratto della A10 tra i caselli di Borghetto e Albenga in entrambe le direzioni è chiuso con code che si stanno formando in entrambe le uscite dell’autostrada ma anche sulla via Aurelia dove la circolazione è stata deviata.
