Una ragazzina di 12 anni è morta ieri a Borgofranco di Ivrea, impiccata ad una mensola con la cintura di un accappatoio intorno al collo. L’ha trovata il padre che ha dato l’allarme. Sull’accaduto indagano i carabinieri della compagnia di Ivrea che su mandato della procura di Ivrea hanno sequestrato il cellulare e il computer della ragazzina.
Il timore, sostiene l’edizione torinese di Repubblica, ma non è l’unica ipotesi degli inquirenti, è che non si sia trattato di un suicidio ma di una delle «sfide mortali di Tik Tok come era successo a Palermo» a gennaio quando una bambina di 10 anni era morta nello stesso modo, chiusa nel bagno di casa impiccata alla cintura di un accappatoio. Immediatamente la sorellina aveva parlato di un folle gioco su tik tok. Lo chiamano Blackout challenge o hanging challenge, una sfida di resistenza.

La piccola morta ieri sera a Borgofranco non ha lasciato biglietti e non ha mai parlato con nessuno di quella sfida con i genitori, ma gli investigatori che indagano sulla vicenda stanno cercando di chiarire se la ragazzina possa aver agito influenzata dal social del momento, non nuovo a questo tipo di sfide pericolose. Nelle scorse settimane a Rivoli era stato segnalato il caso di un gruppo di giovani che, su corso Francia, si buttava contro le auto per gioco.
Anche quella sembra essere la riproduzione di una delle sfide di TikTok. Per cercare di arginare il fenomeno dei giovanissimi sul social network dal 9 febbraio il garante della privacy ha chiesto controlli più stringenti per evitare che gli under 13 possano connettersi alla piattaforma del social cinese.
