Una studentessa di 15 anni di seconda liceo, interrogata in tedesco, durante la Dad, – come raccontano La Repubblica e Il Corriere del Veneto -, è forse fin troppo preparata e la sua insegnante ha il dubbio che stia leggendo dai libri. Così la docente le chiede di bendarsi gli occhi. La notizia è rimbalzata prima sulle chat e poi arrivata alla stampa. L’Ufficio scolastico regionale del Veneto ha avviato accertamenti, mentre non si sono fatte attendere le reazioni politiche.
Bendata in Dad, le reazioni
Individuato l’istituto, la direttrice scolastica Carmela Palumbo ha contattato il dirigente che ha sentito i ragazzi e i docenti, per ricostruire l’accaduto ed eventualmente prendere provvedimenti.
“In questo momento – ha detto Palumbo all’Ansa – non possiamo esprimere giudizi su un episodio che pare un eccesso di zelo che ha portato a un comportamento discutibile, scaturito dalla difficoltà a gestire in Dad la situazione delle verifiche”, ha concluso.
L’episodio non è piaciuto alla sottosegretaria all’Istruzione Barbara Floridia (M5s). “La cultura del sospetto non rientra tra gli obiettivi della scuola: il gesto della professoressa mi sembra eccessivo e inopportuno. Abbraccio la studentessa e le invio la mia solidarietà”, ha detto.
Più cauto il sottosegretario all’Istruzione Rossano Sasso (Lega). “Credo si tratti di un episodio isolato, che giustamente andrà approfondito dalla dirigenza dell’istituto”.
Il segretario nazionale di Sinistra Italiana, Nicola Fratoianni ha biasimato il gesto e annunciato un’interrogazione. Per l’Unione degli studenti è un episodio inaccettabile. Tempo fa, hanno ricordato, “lanciammo la Carta dei diritti delle studentesse e degli studenti in Dad, che puntava a evitare il ricrearsi di queste situazioni. Il fatto che a un anno dall’inizio della pandemia continuino a verificarsi, rende ancor più necessario e urgente la messa in campo di strumenti di tutela per gli studenti. Il ministro dell’Istruzione ci ascolti!”, ha affermato Luca Redolfi che guida l’Uds.
Non è la prima volta
Non è la prima volta che un docente chiede agli studenti di bendarsi per evitare suggerimenti: a fine ottobre scorso a Scafati, in Campania, durante un’interrogazione di Latino e Greco, una docente aveva chiesto ai ragazzi collegati di mettere una benda sugli occhi per evitare di sbirciare dal libro di testo e dagli appunti suscitando l’ira degli studenti.
