Annamaria Mantile, insegnante 62enne del Vomero, non è morta come si sospettava, per le conseguenze della vaccinazione antiCovid praticata, quattro giorni prima del decesso, presso il Vaccine Center della Mostra D’Oltremare. L’evento tragico e inaspettato – vista la buona salute di cui godeva la professionista – è stato invece causato da un infarto intestinale. Quest’ultimo è sopravvenuto alle 13,30 di martedì 2 marzo, presso la sua abitazione, dopo un prolungato stato di malessere accompagnato da vomito biliare e alimentare.
Ad escludere che l’inoculazione del vaccino AtraZeneca possa essere la causa della morte è stata l’autopsia. Quest’ultima è stata effettuata nei giorni scorsi presso la sala settoria giudiziaria dell’ospedale di Giugliano. L’esame necroscopico è stato praticato da un collegio di periti, consulenti tecnici d’ufficio, nominati dalla Procura di Napoli, che indaga sull’accaduto, dopo la denuncia sporta dalla famiglia della vittima. Pubblico ministero nell’inchiesta è la dottoressa Giuliana Giuliano.

Presenti all’indagine autoptica anche i periti incaricati come consulenti di parte di alcuni medici indagati. Un atto dovuto, a garanzia e tutela dei soggetti coinvolti e che non va assolutamente interpretato come affermazione di responsabilità nell’ambito di un’inchiesta tesa a chiarire le cause del decesso e la correttezza di tutte le procedure mediche e assistenziali messe in atto nei confronti della paziente. A partire da quelle della Asl che ha inoculato il vaccino, passando per l’eventuale insorgenza di reazioni avverse al farmaco fino all’esame degli eventuali profili di responsabilità professionale nell’assistenza prestata alla donna all’atto dell’insorgenza dei malesseri riguardo alla diagnosi e terapie prescritte dai professionisti chiamati a prestare cure prima del decesso.
Ma torniamo all’esame autoptico. E’ stato effettuato dal collegio formato da Pietro Tarsitano, direttore dell’Unità operativa complessa di Medicina legale dell’azienda ospedaliera Cardarelli di Napoli, Antonio Perna anatomo e istopatologo, Francesco Diurno rianimatore nonché cardiologo e Giuseppe Morelli, infettivologo dirigente dell’azienda ospedaliera dei Colli. Dai rilievi emersi la causa della morte viene ricondotta a un infarto intestinale. Provocato a sua volta dal sequestro, nella parete addominale, di un’ansa del tratto digerente. Quella che comunemente viene indicata come “ernia strozzata”. Ad esserle fatale il conseguente shock emorragico e arresto cardiocircolatorio. Il vomito accusato dall’insegnate e il dolore addominale erano appunto la conseguenza all’occlusione intestinale in atto.
Annamaria Mantile autopsia, cos’è successo prima?
Ma andiamo con ordine e riavvolgiamo il nastro dei tragici eventi. La donna, dalle prime ricostruzioni fatte a seguito delle indagini e testimonianze raccolte dagli inquirenti, all’insorgere dei primi sintomi, dopo circa 72 ore dal vaccino anticovid, aveva allertato la guardia medica che avrebbe indicato una terapia.
Da stabilire se sia stata effettuata una visita domiciliare o una prestazione in consulenza telefonica. Successivamente, la mattina del 2 marzo, era intervenuto a domicilio uno specialista cardiologo di fiducia dell’insegnante. Il medico aveva provveduto ad effettuare un’indagine elettrocardiografica non riscontrando segni di sofferenza cardiaca ma rilevando pressione bassa, dolore addominale e stato di disidratazione (conseguenza del vomito). Era stata prescritta una terapia tramite infusione endovena e antinfiammatoria.
All’aggravarsi della situazione lo stesso medico, nella tarda mattinata dello stesso giorno, era poi tornato a casa dell’insegnante partecipando anche ai tentativi di rianimazione, risultati purtroppo vani nonostante l’arrivo di un team del 118 e la disperata corsa in pronto soccorso. La situazione era diventata irrecuperabile. Alla donna dopo il decesso, sospettando una correlazione con il Covid, era stato praticato anche un tampone risultato negativo. Infine la denuncia presentata dalla famiglia affinché sia accertata la verità sulle cause della morte ed eventuali responsabilità.
Cos’è un infarto intestinale?
Ma cos’è esattamente un infarto intestinale? Si tratta della morte (necrosi) in questo caso di un tratto di intestino provocata da un’insufficienza acuta della perfusione di sangue – come si legge nella letteratura specifica – dovuta nel caso specifico allo strozzamento di un’ansa e dei relativi vasi sanguigni. Si presenta con violenti dolori addominali, vomito, diarrea. Insorge con uno stato di shock, caduta della pressione arteriosa e “addome acuto”, ossia irrigidimento della muscolatura addominale per difesa. Sia l’esame radiologico diretto dell’addome sia l’ecografia sono di scarso ausilio per una diagnosi corretta. Mentre la Tac consente di escludere altre cause e di confermare il sospetto clinico. L’intervento chirurgico può essere risolutore.
