Non era il corpo di Peter Neumair. Dopo aver tastato palmo a palmo il fondame dell’area interessa, i sommozzatori hanno avuto la certezza che l’oggetto individuato dall’ecoscandaglio sul fondale dell’Adige non era un corpo umano. Sono state sospese le ricerche di Peter Neumair, ucciso con la compagna, Laura Perselli il 4 gennaio, a Bolzano. Nonostante la massiccia mobilitazione avesse fatto credere di essere ormai vicini al ritrovamento del corpo del 63enne, le ricerche hanno invece appurato che si era trattato di un falso positivo. Si attende invece l’autopsia sul cadavere, recuperato sabato scorso dal fiume, di Laura Perselli, compagna di Peter.
Attesa anche la decisione del tribunale del riesame in merito alla richiesta di scarcerazione avanzata dai legali di Benno Neumair. Il figlio della coppia scomparsa è indagato per omicidio e di occultamento di cadavere.
Madè Neumair, figlia delle vittime e sorella dell’indagato, ha affidato al suo legale una memoria in cui ha espresso timori per la propria incolumità, nel caso Benno dovesse essere scarcerati. Il documento presentato ieri, durante l’udienza del tribunale del Riesame che deciderà sull’istanza di scarcerazione presentata dai legali dell’indagato. La memoria di Madè Neumair potrebbe rivelarsi centrale nella decisione dei giudici. Uno dei punti cardine del provvedimento di arresto di Benno è proprio il pericolo della reiterazione del reato. Il pericolo, cioè, che Benno possa uccidere di nuovo. Benno, 30 anni, insegnante di matematica si è sempre proclamato innocente. Sabato scorso ha ricevuto la notizia del ritrovamento del corpo della madre Laura, in carcere, commentandolo così: “Mia madre non c’è più”.
