Di Maio incredulo – Luigi Di Maio, Ministro degli Esteri, ha pubblicato su Facebook un lungo post per commentare quanto accaduto a Napoli quest’oggi con la morte di un paziente nel bagno del Pronto Soccorso dell’Ospedale Cardarelli. Ecco le sue parole:
“Le immagini del paziente ritrovato morto nel bagno dell’ospedale Cardarelli di Napoli sono scioccanti. Siamo di fronte a fatti drammatici e inaccettabili, episodi che ci spingono ad agire come Governo centrale, perché non c’è più tempo. A Napoli e in molte aree della Campania la situazione è infatti fuori controllo. Non è più questione di opinioni o pareri, qui a parlare è la realtà”.
“Il paziente trovato morto accasciato nel bagno all’ospedale Cardarelli è la più cruda e violenta di numerose testimonianze che mi giungono ogni giorno dagli ospedali campani: persone curate in auto nei parcheggi, altre che muoiono in ambulanze del 118 a cui non viene assegnata la destinazione; altre ancora che neanche vengono prelevate da casa nonostante le continue chiamate”.
“La vita e il diritto alla salute di ogni singolo cittadino sono delle priorità che vanno tutelate sopra ogni cosa. Se non riescono a farlo gli enti territoriali, lo deve fare lo Stato. Ho tenuto il silenzio fino ad ora per rispetto di tutte le istituzioni coinvolte. Ma ora bisogna intervenire immediatamente e bisogna farlo soprattutto al Sud, che rischia di implodere”.
“Io credo che il nostro Governo non debba perdere tempo e debba rispondere, come ha sempre fatto. Siamo qui per decidere, lasciamo agli altri i talk show e le battute. Gli italiani vogliono vederci decisi e determinati”.
