Il giorno dopo aver innescato la crisi di Governo, con le dimissioni delle ministre e del sottosegretario di Italia Viva, Matteo Renzi torna a parlare. Dopo che il presidente del Consiglio Conte è salito al Colle e, d’accordo con Mattarella, ha deciso di andare a riferire alle Camere e chiedere la fiducia tra lunedì e martedì della prossima settimana.
“Ho scoperto che tra le tante cose che dicono di me avrei anche truccato le elezioni in America insieme a Obama“, ha ironizzato Renzi in apertura di collegamento a Dritto e Rovescio, su Rete 4. “Io sto chiedendo una cosa semplice, che ci siano più soldi per la sanità, con il Mes, più soldi per i giovani, avevano approvato un documento senza leggerlo”. Su Di Maio, che ha detto che le strade con il leader di Italia Viva si sono divise ha dichiarato: “Sono veramente dispiaciuto per Di Maio, avrà più tempo di occuparsi di politica estera, che da quando è lì non si lavora più sulla Libia né sulla Cina, quando si va in America sbaglia interlocutore, sono contento almeno avrà più tempo per provare a fare il ministro degli Esteri”.
Renzi oggi: “Conte ci aveva offerto due poltrone ma non le vogliamo”
Poi Renzi è tornato all’estate scorsa: “Io il 22 luglio, sei mesi fa, mi sono alzato in Parlamento, non sui social, e ho chiesto al presidente del Consiglio di dedicare agosto alla scrittura del Recovery plan, è così che si risponde ai commercianti, nel Recovery plan c’è la risposta alla vita delle persone, non temi astratti”.
E poi attacca: “Non m’ha risposto Conte, da agosto, poi a dicembre hanno presentato il documento e non c’erano le cose che servivano. E non c’erano i soldi per la sanità, noi volevamo cambiare delle cose e ci hanno offerto due poltrone in più, a noi interessano le idee non le poltrone“. Alla fine “ci hanno detto che non gli serviamo”.
