“Io non faccio affari con i rom, io non metto i soldi nelle buste del pane, la notizia è inventata“. Lo dice Giorgia Meloni, nel corso di una diretta Facebook, dopo le accuse riportate dalla stampa di un suo presunto contributo da 35mila euro a un clan di nomadi per la campagna elettorale del 2013.
“Devo pensare che gli inquirenti l’abbiano considerata infondata altrimenti mi avrebbero chiesto conto di una notizia che mi infanga – argomenta Meloni – e mi chiedo come sia possibile che una rivelazione del genere sia finita su Repubblica, senza che nessuno abbia inteso chiedermi un punto di vista”.
“E’ strano che nessuno tra i media abbia chiesto il mio punto di vista, neanche il giornalista di Repubblica che ha scritto l’articolo“, sottolinea Meloni: “E’ strano – aggiunge – che questa notizia arrivi mentre siamo l’unico partito di opposizione, l’unico partito che cresce“.
“Gli ultimi sondaggi – ricorda – ci danno sopra il 18%”. “Contro di me – fa il paragone Meloni – le stesse accuse che in Myanmar, quelle di truffa elettorale, sono metodi che ricordano quel regime, ma noi siamo in democrazia, difenderemo la democrazia”.
Poi la leader di Fdi aggiunge: “In Italia piacciono le persone serve e ricattabili, noi siamo persone libere e non abbiamo paura, perché non abbiamo fatto del male. Potete prenderci tutti casa per casa, ma continueremo a dire la nostra“.
Poi conclude: “Ovviamente annuncio querela contro chi dichiara cose false”.
