“Molti italiani non ci saranno più il prossimo Natale”.
Fanno discutere le parole del ministro per gli Affari Regionali, Francesco Boccia che, dopo aver ricordato che il numero dei decessi in Italia per Covid-19 dall’inizio della pandemia ha superato i 50mila, ha precisato: “Discutere di cenoni e feste con 600-700 morti al giorno lo trovo davvero fuori luogo. Non dobbiamo perdere il senso di comunità”.
Ospite di una trasmissione televisiva, il ministro Boccia ha parlato del dolore e dei sacrifici che gli italiani stanno affrontando in questi mesi di pandemia.
E, focalizzando per un attimo l’attenzione al Natale e alla stagione dello sci, di cui tanto si sta discutendo in queste ore, ha dichiarato: “Con 600-700 morti al giorno parlare di cenone è fuori luogo, lo dico con grande chiarezza”.
“Discutere di Natale e Capodanno è ancora più fuori luogo“, ha aggiunto da Barletta, dove si trovava in occasione del sopralluogo all’ospedale da campo allestito dalla Marina militare.
Al momento, quindi, Boccia non vuole sentire parlare di allentare le misure che il governo ha messo in atto per contenere la pandemia da coronavirus. “Ora non ci sono le condizioni per aprire gli impianti da sci. Valuteremo nel prossimo Dpcm se ci saranno e, nel caso, per fare cosa”, ha aggiunto il ministro dem.
Boccia, infine, ha anche invitato gli italiani a resistere, a rispettare le regole e a fare ancora sacrifici per il bene di tutti: “So che è dura, per le famiglie, per i ragazzi che vanno a scuola, per i lavoratori sanitari, e per tutti quanti noi – ha concluso – però dobbiamo reggere ancora questo mese. Dobbiamo tenerci per mano e sono sicuro che vinceremo e ne usciremo più forti di prima. Ma non dobbiamo farci abbattere e perdere il senso di comunità che fa dell’Italia il Paese eccezionale che è”.
