Ha fatto finta di somministrare il vaccino anti-Covid ad un’anziana, ma in realtà il liquido è rimasto dentro la siringa. Ad accorgersene sono stati i familiari della donna che hanno denunciato immediatamente il caso alle autorità. Risultato? L’infermiera è stata rimossa dall’incarico e l’anziana, 97 anni, ha ricevuto finalmente la prima dose del farmaco.
È successo in un centro vaccinale di Maceió, in Brasile. Secondo i media locali, sarebbe stata la badante dell’anziana a filmare il momento della somministrazione del vaccino. Quando i familiari della donna hanno visto il video si sono accorti che c’era qualcosa di strano. Come si può vedere dalle immagini in basso, il vaccino non viene inoculato ma resta dentro la siringa.
Un giornale locale spiega che mentre era impegnata con l’anziana, l’infermiera avrebbe risposto anche ad una domanda su eventuali effetti collaterali dovuti alla vaccinazione, dicendo di non averne mai osservati. E a guardare il filmato, diventato virale in rete, si capisce anche il perché.
“È una fortuna che la vaccinazione sia stata filmata” ha raccontato il nipote della donna a una testata locale. “Se non fosse stato per quel video avremmo creduto che mia nonna fosse stata immunizzata. Nonostante i 97 anni, è molto attiva ed era arrabbiata per essere rimasta a casa tutti questi mesi senza poter vedere i suoi nipoti”.
L’operatrice sanitaria è stata licenziata. Il Comune di Maceió ha fatto sapere che si è trattato di un “caso isolato”, aggiungendo che sulla vicenda è in corso un’indagine e che d’ora in poi gli operatori sanitari saranno tenuti ad osservare una rigida procedura per evitare il ripetersi di casi analoghi.
