Svezia Covid oggi – L’allarme dagli ospedali di Stoccolma, le dichiarazioni di Bjorn Eriksson sulle terapie intensive piene. Le ultime notizie dal mondo sul coronavirus tutte le ultime news aggiornate all’ultim’ora.
I reparti di terapia intensiva di Stoccolma sono pieni al 99%. A lanciare l’allarme è oggi il responsabile sanitario della regione della capitale svedese, Bjorn Eriksson, in una conferenza stampa ripresa dai media locali.
Al momento vi sono 83 pazienti Covid in terapia intensiva che, assieme ad altri malati occupano la quasi totalità dei 160 posti disponibili. “Ci sono 814 persone che lottano per la vita nei nostri ospedali – ha detto riferendosi alla totalità dei pazienti covid nell’area di Stoccolma – dobbiamo dire basta. Non si può rischiare per gli aperitivi, socializzare fuori casa, fare shopping natalizio. Le conseguenze sono terribili”.
Come è noto la Svezia è uno dei pochi Paesi a non aver mai imposto il lockdown. Al momento vi sono alcune limitazioni in tutto il paese fra cui un limite massimo di otto commensali in bar e ristoranti e il divieto di vendita di alcool dopo le 22, mentre per gli ultimi anni delle scuole superiori è stato imposto l’insegnamento a distanza. Per tutti vi è l’esortazione a limitare al massimo i contatti personali fuori dalla famiglia e ricorrere il più possibile allo smart working. Il Paese, che conta poco più di dieci milioni di abitanti, pubblica i dati della pandemia solo due volte a settimana. Ieri si registravano 18.820 nuovi contagi e 133 decessi rispetto a venerdì, per un totale di 297.732 contagi e 7200 morti.
