Poi però conclude d’impeto: “Siamo cambiati, questo virus ci ha allontanati e incattiviti: abbiamo bisogno di tornare a ridere in maniera sana. Ma io ho fiducia in una nuova fase illuminata”. Il Natale è l’occasione per fare il punto con il grande attore e regista romano: il virus si affronta anche con le emozioni. Ecco uno stralcio delle sue dichiarazioni:
Le fa paura il virus?
“Non sono depresso ma intristito e immalinconito: vedo gli amici attraverso il pc e molto poco di persona, a volte al bar e sempre con la mascherina, e non è bello: la paura c’è sempre. Io ho perso almeno 4 amici, alcuni molto più giovani di me, e non avevano patologie. Adesso c’è pure la variante del virus ma sono fiducioso, il vaccino è una speranza e credo che sia fatto bene”.
Come ci cambierà questo virus?
“Stiamo già cambiando soprattutto nelle relazioni: ci ha allontanato moltissimo. La gente è incattivita. Non sorridiamo, siamo bruschi. L’altro giorno ero in fila fuori un negozio e c’era una persona senza mascherina. Una signora glielo fa notare con gentilezza e l’altro le risponde con fare sarcastico che il virus era un complotto. Si è creata un’atmosfera molto brutta e siamo andati via. Solo il negazionista è rimasto”.
È ottimista per il futuro?
“Ho fiducia che ci sia piu responsabilità e meno sciatteria, ho fiducia in una nuova fase che illumini i ragazzi e chi guida il paese. Abbiamo bisogno di tornare a ridere in maniera intelligente e sana”.
