“Io non parlerei di Lombardia, ma per esempio di Milano. Non parlerei di Campania, ma parlerei di Napoli e di alcune aree metropolitane, comincerei a preoccuparmi per Roma. Sicuramente il Piemonte è un’altra area. Io farei degli interventi mirati rafforzando le decisioni nazionali, ma purtroppo in questa fase chiudendo alcune attività in maniera chirurgica”.
Prof Ricciardi si espone sui lockdown a Milano e Napoli
“In generale le misure prese vanno bene per tutto il Paese. Ma ci sono delle aree dove la curva esponenziale dei contagi è talmente forte che per evitare che tra due settimane vengano prese d’urgenza» altre misure è assolutamente necessario farlo ora”.
“Più che di regioni parlerei di aree specifiche del Paese, e credo che questa fase debba essere caratterizzata da interventi mirati, proporzionati quasi chirurgici”.
“La situazione – prosegue Ricciardi – è preoccupante perché di fatto l’epidemia soprattutto in alcune aree del Paese ha cominciato a crescere in modo esponenziale e questo, come abbiamo imparato dai mesi precedenti, significa che dopo un certo punto il raddoppio dei casi si ha ogni due o tre giorni. Tu ti puoi trovare a inizio settimana con mille casi e alla fine delle due successive con 3-4-5 mila casi”.
Ricciardi e la previsione sul Natale
“Il Natale dipende da quello che decidiamo in questo momento. È in questo momento che si prepara il Natale. Io ritengo che certi lockdown mirati vadano fatti subito, non bisogna aspettare Natale. Un’epidemia si combatte con i comportamenti delle persone e con il tracciamento, ma quando vai oltre 10-11mila casi non riesci più a tracciarli i contagi e allora devi contenere».
«In certe aree, la situazione è tale che tu devi fare un lockdown. Mirato, ma deve essere fatto. Se noi prendiamo tempestivamente, adeguatamente, proporzionatamente le misure giuste, avremo un Natale quasi normale”.
“Se invece temporeggeremo e non le prenderemo, vedremo nelle prossime due settimane un aumento esponenziale dei casi soprattutto in alcune aree del Paese. E poi dovremo prendere delle decisioni durissime molto più tardi e servirà molto più tempo. Oggi bastano magari due settimane, ma quando si va più avanti, due settimane non bastano più”.
