Riaperture e coprifuoco, i tempi sono maturi perché l’Italia allenti le restrizioni su locali, discoteche e attività con caratteristiche simili? «Se questa domanda mi venisse posta fra 3 settimane direi di sì, direi che siamo in una zona di sicurezza», se il trend dell’epidemia di Covid continuasse a essere questo, cioè in discesa, mentre le vaccinazioni crescono ancora.
«Nel caso specifico, prima di capire se le riaperture avviate il 26 aprile hanno prodotto effetti occorre aspettare 4-6 settimane a partire da quella data». A tracciare il quadro è il virologo Andrea Crisanti, che non si sbilancia su come stanno andando le riaperture, perché – spiega all’Adnkronos Salute – è ancora presto.
«La gente non capisce il significato di curve esponenziali. All’inizio la trasmissione del virus sembra non avere impatto – evidenzia il direttore del Dipartimento di medicina molecolare dell’università di Padova -, poi prende forza e si impenna all’improvviso. Ecco perché occorre aspettare ancora un po’ per poter dire con certezza che siamo al sicuro».
