Primi vaccinati italiani – Saranno un’infermiera, un operatore socio sanitario, una ricercatrice e due medici dell’Istituto nazionale di Malattie infettive Spallanzani di Roma i primi cinque a ricevere il vaccino contro il Covid nel primo giorno utile, ovvero domenica 27 dicembre.
A comunicarlo è stata la direzione dell’istituto. Le 9.750 dosi del vaccino Pfizer destinate al nostro Paese partiranno dal Belgio e giungeranno nell’ospedale romano da dove l’esercito le prelevera’ per distribuirle in tutte le altre Regioni.
Le successive dosi di Pfizer, cosi’ come previsto dal Piano vaccini, saranno consegnate direttamente dalla casa farmaceutica ai 300 siti di somministrazione individuati dalla struttura commissariale in accordo con le Regioni.
“Gli italiani apprezzano l’impegno gravoso delle Forze armate nell’ambito dello sforzo comune per affrontare l’emergenza sanitaria sul territorio nazionale”, ha dichiarato il capo dello Stato Sergio Mattarella.
“La difesa attraverso il Comando operativo di vertice Interforze (Coi) ha messo a disposizione le risorse della sanita’ militare, strutture per la quarantena, ospedali da campo, impianti di produzione, mezzi logistici, velivoli per il trasporto e l’evacuazione medica ad alto biocontenimento”, ha aggiunto Mattarella.
“Le unita’ operative dispiegate nell’operazione Strade sicure hanno rafforzato il dispositivo per fornire sicurezza a zone sensibili e altre unita’ sono state impiegate per la distribuzione dispositivi di protezione, derrate alimentari alla popolazione e sanificazione degli ambienti”.
