Iva Zanicchi piange a Verissimo. La nota cantante 80 enne Iva Zanicchi, guarita da qualche settimana dal Covid, è stata ospite nel salotto di Silvia Toffanin a Verissimo su Canale 5. Qui ha raccontato della sua battaglia contro il Covid e della morte del caro fratello Antonio. Ecco le sue parole riportate dall’edizione online de Il Mattino:
“Hanno sedato mio fratello malato di Covid, ma non pensavo fosse per accompagnarlo alla morte“.
“Tutto è cominciato quando io ho sentito dei dolori strani alle mani, agli arti. Avevo poca febbre, 37.5. Ho capito subito che era il coronavirus. Io e tutti i miei parenti eravamo positivi. C’era stata la cresima del nipote di mia sorella e dopo la cerimonia sono venuti a salutarci a casa sempre con la mascherina”.
“Forse ci siamo infettati così. Alessandro delle Iene mi ha prenotato un esame in ospedale e lì mi hanno riscontrato la polmonite. Mi hanno ricoverato, lì ho pianto. Non ho avuto mai il casco, ho avuto dei momenti di crisi e ho pregato. Poi, è entrata mia sorella di 82 anni, che adesso sta benino. Poi, è entrato mio fratello Antonio che era cardiopatico”.
“Eravamo tutti nello stesso reparto. Poi io e mia sorella siamo uscite. Nel giro di 12 ore, è precipitato tutto. Ha sofferto tantissimo. Mi ha chiamato l’infermiera e mi ha detto che lo avrebbero sedato. Ma non pensavo che lo accompagnassero alla morte”.
“Mi ha videochiamato e mi ha chiesto di salutare tutti. Io per lui ero come una mamma. Trovo così ingiusto che non l’ho più visto. Era un artista, dipingeva benissimo“.
E conclude tra le lacrime: “Lui diceva che io e le nostre due sorelle lo soffocavamo. Fin da piccolo aveva avuto problemi al cuore e lo seguivamo in tutto e per tutto. Ciao Antonio bambino mio“.
