«Il pronto soccorso del San Raffaele è vuoto». Basta una frase pronunciata dal medico Alberto Zangrillo per far partire una polemica – a distanza, ma puntuta – tra lo specialista e il suo collega e «rivale» Massimo Galli, fermamente convinto che il Covid non consenta ancora nessun tipo di allentamento.
Zangrillo ha esternato su Twitter il suo messaggio all’insegna dell’ottimismo: «Cari signori giornalisti, questa mattina il Pronto Soccorso Covid 19 del San Raffaele è vuoto. Vaccini, ricerca e soprattutto cure corrette e tempestive fanno la differenza». «La terapia più efficace contro il coronavirus Sars-CoV-2? Si chiama medico di medicina generale. E spero che a questa figura sia riservato un ruolo di grande responsabilità e prestigio nelle sfide che in futuro la medicina ci proporrà» aggiunge poco più tardi parlando all’agenzia Adnkronos.
Ma non è tempo di cantar vittoria, lo rimbrotta di lì a poco Massimo Galli, lo specialista dell’ospedale «Sacco», altro camice bianco divenuto molto «mediatico» in questo anno di pandemia: «Non mi piace contrappormi ai colleghi – dice ai microfoni e alle telecamere di Sky Tg 24 – , sono stanco. Il professor Zangrillo fa egregiamente il rianimatore, ma meno l’epidemiologo o il virologo, e ha un altro approccio. L’ impressione è che questo tipo di messaggi non tenga conto di una serie di fenomeni che stiamo vedendo e sono sconcertanti, come ad esempio la crescita delle infezioni in Germania. Dobbiamo essere cauti anche se sta arrivando l’estate», perché «tantissimi dei non vaccinati sono in una fascia critica».
